2025 Labor Day Camp-Out
September signals the end of Summer and brought our Annual Labor Day Camp-Out, again held at Emery Bay. Thank you, Dave Wirkus for coordinating this event.

Group site “A”
Camping is a great way to get away from the daily hustle and bustle of life, and twenty-two people (and their thirteen dogs), from Journey Church, did just that, and enjoyed the long weekend.

Group site “B”
The weather was beautiful and while some time is spent resting in their “portable” homes, there are many things to do at Emery Bay.

Fun and Fellowship
Time was spent sitting around the campfire enjoying fellowship.

Fun and Fellowship
Sharing mealtimes, the Ice Cream extravaganza! First was Taco Friday-an amazing feast. Saturday brought the Ice Cream extravaganza, which is a favorite for everyone.

Fun and Fellowship
Playing games, everyone wins!

Fun and Fellowship
Playing games, well into the night!

Fun and Fellowship
Kayaking the beautiful Reservoir.

Always Entertaining
Someone always had something funny to say.

Worship Service
Sunday morning, Christy, Debbie, Dave, Rich, Bobby and Laura brought worship to the camp-out. Sunday’s worship service is always a blessing with joyous songs of praise and stories shared by those in attendance.
;
Joining Together
Journey Church campers (and non-campers) and other campers from nearby joined us for the Sunday morning service. Even the dogs seemed to be enjoying the service.

Sunday Morning Service
Mike McKnight provided us with an inspiring message.
Following the service, we shared a pot luck lunch where we want to try everything and always eat too much.
Everyone had a Great Time!
