Journey Kids

We believe in the next generation and we want our kids to love Jesus and love church.

Our team of volunteers is excited to help your child encounter the love of Jesus through genuine community and Biblical teaching from an early age.

Every single member of our team has been trained to provide a fun but safe atmosphere. We require each volunteer to pass a full background check before being entrusted to be a part of our amazing team.

Infants & Toddlers (birth-4 years of age)

The nursery and toddler room is ready to care for infants and small children up to 4 years of age throughout the service on Sunday morning. Parents are welcome to stay with their infants in the nursery. There is a speaker in the nursery so parents don’t have to miss the pastor’s message.

Journey Kids

We have Kids’ Church during the entire service time for children ranging from Kindergarten to 5th grade so they can learn God’s Word at their own age level. We have one group for K-2nd and another for 3rd-5th grades.

Wednesday Evening – Royal Rangers

Rangers is the Assemblies of God boys and girls scouting program, much like Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, except with its foundation built on God’s Word and its focus aimed at developing godly character in the next generation.

This program is for grades K-12 with activities and merit badges specifically designed for each age level. Here in the state of Montana, both boys and girls can both participate in Royal Rangers.

We meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm – 8pm.

1st Time Guest

We are excited that you chose to visit us here at Journey Church. Here is some information to help your first visit be smooth and fun. First, know that your child’s safety is our number one priority.

When you first visit Journey Kids, locate the KidCheck station at the back of our sanctuary, just to your left after you walk through our entry. You will need to enter your name, phone number and children’s names and birthdates. The program will print an i.d. sticker for each child and a guardian ticket that you will use to pick up your child(ren).

After you have completed the KidCheck process, we will show you around to your children’s classrooms and answer any questions you have.

Your kids will remain in the Kids’ Church classrooms for the entire service.  After the service, return to the classroom with your guardian ticket where we can match up the image with that on the child’s sticker to ensure your child is released to the correct adult. Please do so within 10 minutes to let our volunteers put the classrooms back in order.
